This work is from the "Compositions" series (1984/1989). It comprises a group of square paintings and watercolors presented in a diamond shape, echoing the works of Mondrian and Bill on this form. Their geometric construction results from the superimposition of two inverted orthogonal drawings—thus presenting the obverse and reverse of the same plane (circular symmetry). Created through successive layers of highly diluted color, they are almost minimalist in style, devoid of any trace of brushstrokes or pure color. The work was executed in acrylic on canvas primed with white gesso. It is square, measuring 150 x 150 cm, and presented in a diamond shape, it has a total area of 210 x 210 cm..
